UPDATES:

1. Bow swapping doesn't work anymore so just melee with your pickaxe to kill ice walkers.

2. Rhys will only accept 10 lapis, and 10 of two other ores. I'd recommend coal and redstone.

3. Ender monocles are optional due to the high combat requirement so do as you see fit.

For unlocking the Dwarven mines you can enchant a golden axe with smelting touch to turn wood into charcoal. You can then turn the charcoal into coal blocks that can be turned into Enchanted coal, it's a real fast way to get 30 ecoal compared to normal mining.

Great guide so far, I've gotten to the point where I'm farming pumpkins for the helmet. Everything went far smoother than I expected, all in all, and this helped me finish my first entrance level dungeon. Only thing I'm wondering is how and when to transition from farming to mining after you're done with it?

I followed the guide, got the dreadlord sword, grinded entrance a lot until i got to cata 6, but i am dying too much in the dungeons to have a shot at the lost adventurers. Any advice?
