New figures reveal China's obesity problems

Despite recent headwinds, China's economy has most certainly grown a lot. But so have people's waist-lines. A new report says over 30-percent of China's adult population is overweight. Nearly 12 percent are considered obese. CCTV's Zhao Yunjie filed this report.

It's interesting that all these different countries which now have obesity problems blame "the western diet"
Two points:1) Westerners have only seen obesity in the past few decades. If anything westerners are eating less traditional foods than ever despite rising obesity.
2) These obese people are still eating a majority of their traditional foods.
With those two points out of the way, how could you possibly blame western diet on the obesity problems emerging in all these different countries.
You have a choice what to eat.
