I made a box like this during covid. I gave it to my wife to keep photos and memorabilia of members of her late family in. Mine was made of ceder with a mahogany wedge.

And good to see hand tools in place of machinery. Don't get me wrong, I love machinery... but it's always good to go back to first principles.
