Best Selling Xbox Consoles 2001 - 2020

This visualization shows the sales performance of each Xbox console starting from the original Xbox in 2001 up to August 2020. I sped up the first few years as not to bore you. Although the Xbox has normally been the most powerful console it was way too late to the party. This allowed Sony to capture most of the market looking for a console with advanced graphics. Gamers are extremely loyal to their consoles so it's tough to steal them from Sony and Nintendo.

OG Xbox has been my favorite, introduced how we play online today, Halo 2 was the prime example, with leaderboards, clans, quick and optimatch settings, custom games for your friends, now games take it for granted today

My favorite console. The Xbox360. I still have it, in great shape like I just bought it. I mostly play Banjo-Kazooie, but once and a while some other games. I’m so glad they made it.
