On the Cricket boundary today; You do have 22 yards to take off from along the Pitch! Nice flight and the grass was a great Arrester Barrier!

The 3S 2200 is where it really shines. But I will be getting a couple 1300's once they are in stock. Excellent flight Gary!! ✈

3S @2200 35c with decent throttle control you should betting around 10+ minutes of flight. Grass take offs and landings are no problem on freshly tight cut lawns. Enjoy such a fun jet.

Great flight Gary, like that aircraft especially since it has a RUDDER might ad that one to the hangar!

I had same results this past weekend with trying to fly the 50mm Habu off grass. Mine rolled faster than yours but just not enough to break ground. I hand launched with SAFE on and that's the best option with this jet. SAFE hand launches are the way to go. Landing on grass in AS3X was no problem. Rolls out just fine.
As for battery the 3s 2200 is just too much weight. I found some 3s 100C 1500's and get 4 min flights easy. This seems to be the perfect pack for this plane.

I took off from grass using a lighter 1300 lipo earlier this week . Maybe the 2000mah is too heavy for it

Can't wait to see it fly on 1300 3s with no wheels on.

That's a bit of a step down from your Viper 90mm - lol. Good flying anyway.
