After using my wood planer several times and having to clean up a large mess of wood chips and dust, I went on the search for a dust collection system for my planer.
I soon found a setup from another brand that I read might fit on to my planer. So I purchased this port adaptor and I and showing you how it turned out.

Thanks I was a little disappointed when I just unboxed my planer to find out there was no dust collection... I was like really? Who makes a planer that doesn't have dust collection??? I was glad to find out there is an add on option. I just ordered using your link... so I hope you get a few bucks or something when we order through you.

I used the exact same thing but the chips get clogged where it meets the chute

Looking at the PC as a potential but almost $50 extra for the shroud jacks it up to the $400 range for a two-blade planer so a deal breaker for me. Thanks for the info!

I bought that part for the same planer. But all the waste gets stuck in the hose and stuff comes out in every direction. Does the hose have some kind of suction that you turn on when you run the planer ?
