XRP holders will be very rich when the price of $XRP breaks out in the coming years. It will be glorious indeed, with some people finally achieving upward class mobility. The Government, however, will not stand by and watch while the xrp army runs away with all that dosh.

They can only legislate and pass laws in their own country, there are plenty of tax free jurisdictions that holders can move to.

They can’t tax XRP it’s not a security and it’s classified as cash/stablecoin. Once regulations get solidified the classification for XRP will Cash/Stablecoin straight from the BIS definition which is not taxable

What if i want to buy a house? The seller will accept xrp instead of in my case euros. Would that count as a capital gain if i haven't transferred it out of xrp to fiat?🤔

The only problem is the hope that XRP sky rockets like Bitcoin, Ether or Sol, personally I cant see it happening. I think about this conundrum every day, I think that XRP has been treated badly. I hold a few tokens, but ive come to realise I cant keep dreaming, XRP is an under performer and is certainly being held back by those that control such things.
