Im getting into real estate photography and this is by far the best workflow I've seen. Agents will just want good looking photos, and we want the best efficient way to deliver and get the next job. Thank you for this tutorial.

Dude I fucking love you, my previous workflow was absolute trash, I'm embarrassed to even tell you how I was doing it. Each house was taking about 45 minutes - 1 Hour to edit with my old method.


Doing it your way with a few tweaks of my own preference has made a world of difference. I feel like I owe you a beer or something.

This is radically different than my workflow but awesome none the less. Thanks for sharing! I know a lot of people don't share because they are worried their competition will 'steal' their ideas or something.

This is going to sound crazy, but I underexpose (expose for outside the window) and use a bounce flash set to overexpose by a stop. Then in Camera RAW, I bring the exposure back up so inside looks good to me, and use the adjustment brush to put the exterior back down to where it started. This works well because I don't need a tripod and I'm only editing one photo, but flash-falloff is an issue sometimes. It also isn't as natural looking.

Hey John! I used to follow this step but suddenly my lightroom doesn't show me the "stacking" option. even tough on the option category. It's on the option but it's blank. do you know what's happening?

How are you controlling the settings without using the mouse? Did you set up keybinds?

I'm looking to become as efficient as possible and the workflow you show here is extremely helpful. I have a question about the files that are shown immediately after the HDR Merge. It seems that your merged files populate in there own folder without the originals. Is this because you've edited the video to eliminate the process of separating them or does your process somehow create a new folder for only the merged photos? (Either way, I'm still super grateful that you shared your technique.)

Your version of infuse does the window pulls MUCH better than mine even though one of my exposures always has a great pull. LR infuse always seems to give me the much lighter window pull.

John my Infuse plugin doesn't have my lens profile when i want to correct it, what can i do? i used canon 10-18mm and i only have a similar one 10-22mm

Bought your presets. If there is a light on in the room it looks blown out and has some "rays" coming off. How do I get that to look better?

Wow, so glad I found this! What do you do with your windows? I started out doing the polygonal lasso in PS, but it's so time-consuming. Now I'm doing a flash shot on windows and then doing darken mode in PS. I don't like doing that either because I have to turn my flash on and off and turn my bracketing back on in my camera for every shot. I also wouldn't be able to do this with the flash shot or would I? Would the program know not to include my flash shot? Thanks :)
