How to encode/write an NFC tag with an Android phone

Greetings, I am not a techy person. My thought is locking the tag would protect your tag from hackers. Why did you recommend locking the tag?

Greetings, Can you create a video specifically on the reason to lock or unlock your nfc tag? In my opinion a separate video would be helpful to android and iphone users. If the person has an iphone he or she isn't going to watch the android video to get the explanation of locking and unlocking a tag.
