Explanation
Every triangle has three sides and three vertices, or points where two lines meet.
Three lines can exist without forming a triangle, but it's not possible for three points to not form a triangle.

You can prove it because the angles add up to 180º. This can be done despite it not being a right triangle, which is the equilibrium of ninety degrees and itself halved (45 degrees ) for the other two angles.

As is correctly stated, a triangle has three sides.
The area of the triangle is a*b/2.
The perimeter is a^2+b^2=c^2 so the square root of the sum is the perimeter.
