I feel no shame in saying that Heroes (Elemental, Destiny, Evil, Vision, Masked, Xtra) is my favorite archetype in all of Yu-Gi-Oh. I'm a big fan of comic books and super-heroes, plus fusion is my favorite summoning mechanic in the series. I also feel very nostalgic towards them because GX is the series I watched the most as a kid.

Remember when konami replaced Stratos with Avian in the masked hero deck because Stratos was banned at the time?

You probably knew that but what you probably didn't know was that the OCG version of the Hero Strike structure deck had Elemental Hero Gaia instead of Great Tornado. The more you know

im a big fun of the yugioh animated series and while its hard for me to put down my fav season, both 1 and 2 have both their own pros and cons (like comparing good pizza with sushi. impossible!) the GX series's elemental heroes was probably my favorite and I played them rpetty much exclusively in duel links, though i neve really got to play TCG/OCG when i was younger due to me not being able to afford cards, low playerbase, not enough imported stuff etc etc. i kinda wanted to learn more about elemental heroes and maybe draw inspiration for new strategies and what not and im glad i stumbled on to this. really cool stuff. thanks man

I was surprised to see no Blazeman or Solid Soldier as honorable mentions. Prisma was a really fun card in a lot of the jankier fusion decks, not just Glad Beasts
