Aman Kyoto is definitely Kyoto's best, followed by Hoshinoya, Ritz-Carlton, Park Hyatt and Four Seasons IMHO.

The Mitsui has a private onsen on their room. But its the most expensive suite.

We have stay in Roku Kyoto in December but after watching this video we're thinking about cancelling that stay. From Park Hyatt to Roku is an hour transit. Might not be worth going all the way out.
