HEY GUYS OKAY ik this isn’t RWBY-related but I hv been compiling this for a while and I just had to finish it!! Ive been a huge fan of The Owl House (TOH) for a while now and I highly rec it to anyone who hasn’t watched it yet. SRSLY if u haven’t just give it a go!!! Ever since RWBY ended a couple months back this show has been sth for me to look forward to every weekend, and im super glad for it :)

There are a few questions and things that bugged me on Amity's earlier character and not to be a hater but I need to get this off my chest.

1. First of all, it's just a badge, it's not the end of the world
2. You mainly got yourself in trouble/embarrassed by making a scene in the cafeteria
3. You were wronged by your teacher and mentor, it's no excuse to take your problems out on your peers, it wasn't entirely their fault
4. So let's say hypothetically Luz didn't cheat, what did you want to happen? Just for her to stand there and let herself be beaten up?
5. So it was ok for you to threaten Luz's dream, but when your dreams are jeopardized it's horrible? Why did you negotiate that with her anyway? Just for some ego trip to express superiority over her? Or part of an opportunity to exert payback for the Abomination incident?
7. How is Luz offering to help you with the kids at the library "bothering you?" I don't understand how that's seen as annoying.
8. How can you call Luz a bully after years of talking down to Willow and trying to have Luz killed, maimed, and given up her dream?
9. Finally you weren't the nicest witch "either?" dude Luz was trying to be nice and reconcile with you the whole time and you made it very hard for her to do that. Refusing to listen to others or understanding their perspectives only fuels the fire.

I don't mean to put hate on Amity and I'm a big lumity shipper btw, but it's kind of hard for me to sympathize with Amity when I look back at her hypocrisy early in the show. It seemed like Amity was so busy assuming the worst in Luz that she never took the time to get to know her as a person.
