This is pretty much a quintessential aspect of competitive games where something is a frustrating issue and while it could be worked around everyone ia just too titlted about it to think about that side. This is especially common with something like League of Legends where everyone's instant respons to something being broken is to beg for it to be completely removed.

Imagine being that person who complains when the area denial item is used as intended and prevents you from pushing/rushing or accessing a specific area.
"It does a lot of damage though" well.. yeah? It causes a fire and that's also the point?
It's meant to be an "area denial" throwable for a reason, elseway it might as well be a bunch of thumbtacks on the ground.
This just sounds like a classic case of "This has mildly inconvenienced me, therfor it is clearly OP and should be banned rather than leading me to develop new tactics and skills to avoid or combat it in the future."
