Nice, Tim. I use bank line or smaller diameter paracord to replace worn or torn off zipper pulls. After I make the new zipper pulls, I take about 8 inches of 8 pound monofilament fishing line or thread and thread one end of this through the hole on the zipper. Next, I take that end and thread it through the zipper pull loop and back through the zipper hole. I then pull the zipper pull loop through the hole on the zipper. Then, I draw the zipper loop knot through the loop on the other side and tighten it up.so there is no slack.

Another way would be to tie the smaller diameter line to the bigger diameter line with a temporary knot and pull it through the hole in the zipper. Undo the knot or cut it. Then, proceed to make your zipper pull.

These look interesting how do they compare to the similar maxpedition pulls? I like them myself and i usually squeeze them down and get as much of the loop as possible through before pushing it through the loop.

Easier way to get the cord through would be to use an ordinary twist tie you get with any cord and thread that through the zipper hole...then wrap it through the cord on the pull and back through the zipper hole...then pull it and the pull cord through the zipper...

Unfortunately, my love of Vanquest has lost some of its luster. My Mobius V-Packer (a little over 1 year old) has stitching coming undone on the flap. I haven't been able to get any response from customer service to my emails. I've even tried contacting them on Facebook, nothing. I'm really getting disappointed with their service. I hope that their quality isn't going downhill, too.
