What's The Best Seat For Comfort To Buy For MTB and Road Bikes

Seats are one of the most important things you can buy for your road bike or mountain bike and most people that are getting started in cycling go for the big padded seat because they think it will be the most comfortable one, but that's not always the case.
The bigger padded saddles are ok for short rides but the narrow one with less padding is much better for long distance bike rides along with a good pair of cycling shorts
Spend some time in the bike shop testing different seats out to find one that is best for you.
The big padded seats tend to trap nerves and blood vessels which isn't a very good idea when your out doing a big ride.

You should consult your Doctor before doing any strenuous exercise or workout, if you have any dizziness or pain you should stop immediately, you do this workout at your own risk. Please be reminded i am not a personal trainer this is just my workout routine you should consult a personal trainer to obtain a proper workout for what you want to achieve.

For anything over an hour and a half of road riding, I need my Brooks B-17. I find that when my butt hurts, my lower back eventually starts to hurt from the tension of my butt hurt. Don't let a unsatisfactory saddle keep you off the bike folks!

Get your sit bones measured or do it yourself.A saddle narrower than your sit bones will end your family aspirations.+ Maybe stand up every 15 minutes for 15-20 seconds to let blood flow again (like releasing a tourniquet).

What do you recommend for a bigger guy? I purchased a nice mountain bike to lose weight but I currently weigh about 250lbs at 5"11. My Specialized Camber came with a nice 143mm saddle but it really hurts. I think maybe a 155 or even a 163 (I think) would suit my body type. What do you think?
