Welcome to part one of a series of English classes about phrasal verbs. In English, we use phrasal verbs all the time. We use them at work. We use them at school. We use them when talking to friends.

I don't think I can stress enough the importance of knowing phrasal verbs. All of the phrasal verbs in this lesson are quite common, and I'll help make them easy to remember by showing you a picture, and by using the verb in several sentences.

In this English lesson you'll learn phrasal verbs like: to show off, to show up, to pull over, to double down, to double up, and more!

To look up to : mengagumi atau menginginkan menjadi seseorang
To take after : persamaan antar orang *anak ke ayah / lainya
To call off : membatalkan
To eat out : makan di luar rumah
To eat in : makan dirumah / dine in di restoran
To hang out : berkumpul / menghabiskan waktu bersama org2
To put off : menunda pekerjaan / kegiatan
To bring up : mention sesuatu kembali dalam percakapan
beg, steal or borrow : idiom kekita seseorang menhinginkan barang tp tidak punya uang, dia bisa memiliki pilihan itu

End : berakhir
End up : berakhir dengan sesuatu
Head out : pergi

21:10 Yeah, verb "get" has the largest number of meanings among the other words in English. If I'm not mistaken - it's about 70 meanings, including phrasal verbs 🙃
