Enjoy this tour of Neil Taylor's vintage Barbie and Big Jim collection. Neil has been collecting vintage toys for over 40 years and he taught me so much about the hobby when I was first starting out that I can never thank him enough. Neil Taylor's collections are beyond amazing. You can tell a true collector has a passion for what they collect.

WOW that is fantastic, this is proof we can enjoy other's joy while not having an interest in collecting it ourselves. I have zero interest in anything Barbie joining my collection but you can see the joy in his face showing all these history and treasures from such a vast and interesting collection. Bravo for showing us this Tony. It was very cool and entertaining.

I was fascinated by my cousin's Barbies when I was a lad - she has a lot of 1990s/2000s era dolls. We used to make up absurd dramas with them and my _Max Steel_ figures. 😂
Looking at this collection and others like it, I greatly appreciate the history now and just how extensive the design detail is. There's some real treasures here. 😁

Big Jim, I'm not very familiar with, but I know that line was a big basis for what eventually led to He-Man. I remember reading the first prototype was literally a Big Jim doll with sculpting clay added to build the muscles. 😂

Actually, Tony, have you ever covered collector guide books on the channel? I mean talking about bad ones and good ones and how they helped or didn't help when you started majorly collecting?

Also, nice background music. What is that?

Wow, this is an impressive collection. I'm going to show your video to my mother, who had a moderate Barbie collection back in the 1960s. I'm sure these dolls will spark some memories for her!

That is a collection. I love seeing toy collections of toys that I am not at risk of buying. I get all the upside but none of the expense or hassle. Thanks.

Tony.. your pal Neal is a cool ass dude, love his humble energy and his collection is just awesome! Not a Barbie collector but I've always appreciated how far they've come and having him show us glimpses to the past with these and Big Jim, who I was just introduced to through this video is just so so cool. Different video for me but I LOVED it.
Shared with my Ma too. She flipped her lid! haha

What amazing collection Neil has! Very cool to hear more of the story on Barbie. Hey Tony, let your friend Neil know he spells it wrong! Lol!

Thanks for sharing. Big Jim and especially P.A.C.K was a huge part of my childhood. Loved the promo and packaging art. Wish we would have gotten the extended line here in Canada
BTW, and I mean this in the best way possible, it was fun hearing you say “Barbie”

I have zero interest in Barbie, but I have huge interest in any collector who has this great a collection of anything. Love this video. I recently went to Russia where a friend of my wife was curator of the Museum of Spoons. I was in heaven. Not because I care one lick about spoons, but because I was speaking with a kindred spirit.

I don't have interest in Barbie, but this was outstanding. It amazes me that you can still find these toys and outfits still in the packaging. Never opened. How I don't know.

I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for showing me something I would have not seen if not on this channel. You have the best toy channel on YouTube Tony. Well done!
