Plot twist: The mother gets killed THEN the kid goes ape shit and kills everyone on the plane since he’s a vampire himself! Then manages to escape after the plane crashes to set up the sequel.

She is a scientists who turned vampire after giving birth to her son. She is on the run because they need her DNA and son because its the first time someone was able to survive the vampire serum and has a formula to suppress it.

Just as they boarded the plane, an unrelated hijacking took place and there are bloodshed which made her use her vampire self to fight the hijackers.


When the plane safely landed, military was killed and her son ran away. It ended with her escaping and her son captured by the lab she used to work for.

More likely setting up a sequel where she fights to get her child back.

I have a feeling the mom asks that man to protect her son because she ran out of the Vamp Inhibitor serum and she knows once she turns she will be killed, eventually either by the hijackers or the authorities and then they will go after her son because he is like her but maybe its a genetic mutation that activates after puberty so they want to study him.
