I had been familiar with Charlie Barnet's hit record of this tune for many years and was only marginally interested in the tune. Then, I heard the Elgart version. Hit. Me. Between. The. Eyes! Barnet's tune totally reimagined, those sweet saxes and that biting brass to punctuate the melody, just wow. A brilliant recording and for what it's worth, I have this on CD and Manardcat's dub off vinyl sounds better! Bravo!

Just great music to drive around town in my 1950 Ford Rag Top.  Looking at the Pittsburgh skyline and with my arm around the girl I love at the minute.  Kissing at red lights and squezzeing knee caps was the best time in my life .... 65 years ago.

I own this on CD and I swear it doesn't sound half as good as this vinyl rip. Being a fan of the Elgarts sound since like forever, I owe to myself getting the original LPs (good thing they are fairly easy and cheap to find). Thanks for sharing.
