This is 1 of the reasons I love watching Fizz Family, when they vlog birthdays, Christmas and other events. ALL the kids have a mix of traditional items/games/books, clothes, sweets/chocolate, sports equipment, toiletries and needed items. Even though you potentially have the means to spoil & go overboard, you don't. Each gift is personal & thought about, yes sometimes they had tech/electrical, but it reminds me of my childhood Christmas.I'm 46 and back in the day, that's what we had, clothes, playdoh, cars, stationary, books, Barbie/Sindy, Transformers/Marvel toys, chocolate, spirograph, craft items, games, puzzles, Mr Matey bubble bath and oranges 😆 Years ago, it really was the meaning of a true Christmas. I always remember my 1 Nans' Xmas tree too, random coloured tinsel, silver beads, random mix of baubles, and fairy lights that were spikey stars, all different coloured bulbs. Wrapping paper was Snowman, Santa, gold bells, holly and angels. Chocolates hanging from tree, crackers with plastic combs, hairclips, magic number game, fortune telling fish, mini spinning tops & dice. The pretty paper decs hanging from ceiling.
Ahhhh the good ole days.
