In the footage provided here he lets the ball bounce and skies it as the ball is rising. Still very skilful, but the fact that I’ve never seen him do what Lineker describes makes me wonder whether Lineker actually mistook this drill for volleying

Hes letting it hit the ground before hitting it again though... that's honestly not that impressive even I can do that consistently. Now if he wasn't letting it hit the ground before hitting it again THAT would be impressive.
