This is the type of house that was being built when I was a kid. I love the amount of space and the design. They sure don't make 'em like that anymore.

Nice!!! This house seems to still be in good condition. I would love to have something like this! So the first thing in the garage that you said was HVac was actually the old in house vacuum system. The vacuum cleaner parts in the hallway upstairs would have plugged into a place in the walls in the different rooms, but it looks like they may have been covered. What a cool place!! So did they stay there or just attend a party there? It would be interesting to see photos of LZ in the house. The property is nice but the house underwhelmed me. I guess it needed to be seen in its heyday. I saw a survey marker and I’m guessing it’s going to be sub-divided.

Your excitement while you were speaking about the house outside was so cute! 😊The red textured brick, citrus slice window above the door and the wood as soon as you stepped inside--oh my god! 🫠I don't normally like homes with this entry but there's enough here to overlook that. I think it got a reno/refresh in the late 80s/early 90s because the flooring is real wood & light coloured, and the kitchen cabinets look like real wood too. I feel like there was a small informal living area where that brick was beside the kitchen (there's a light on the wall facing the staircase). I love how the house is sort of tucked away and private (surprised it didn't have a pool). Take care and stay cool. 😉

That type of a house is called a "Split Foyer" . . . and, I wouldn't turn on the master switch for electricity in ANY house you explore - if there happened to be a "new" short in the wiring somewhere, it could start a fire and . . . NOMO house !!! But yes, it's a very cool house, with a real cool history. ( I wouldn't have been able to leave there unless I wrote "HEAVEN" at the top of those steps when you first came in )

He didnt say they OWNED it, they rented it. I believe the downstairs is an apartment. It has bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen, family room, laundry & exit/entrance doors separate from the front door. Maybe it's a mother-in-law suite. The 1st room upstairs is tge informal dining, kitchen & the large room is a family room. The layout is similar to my parent's house. The dining room (with the chandelier) & the formal living room are in the back. The half circle above the doorway had glass in it at once. The house has a central vacuum. The clean-out for them are usually in the garage. Beautiful house even if LZ didn’t stay there! Oh, the reason why he doesn't tell you the location is because no urban explorer tells. Kinda an unwritten rule.

As I was trying to say, the 1960 - 1970's era which is the one I grew up in n I recognize n love all the special little details n cupboards n built inside, n the lay out is wild!!! Great condition as well!! Someone should grab this up for SURE!!! Love this video!!
