Hundreds of millions affected by South Asia heatwave

Extreme weather is affecting millions of people across South Asia and the Middle East.
Health warnings have been issued in northern India, where temperatures have reached 49 degrees Celsius (120 Fahrenheit).
The extreme heat is damaging crops and threatening to further increase food prices.
Al Jazeera's Pavni Mittal reports from New Delhi.

This might be in northern india but here at my home in eastern side is having rains and the weather is normal. I have been to delhi in summers and yeahh its really hot there.

The heat increases are a direct impact of a growing urbanism and population growth putting pressure of certain resources, it has nothing to do with CO2, correlation doesn’t equal causation.

I thought that India was wonderful on love peace and prosperity? it looks like Modi has committed a crime. isn't it a hangable charge to starve your people and not help, don't they have humanitarian laws? I thought I read somewhere that if one person dies your government has committed a crime and it is a hangable charge?wow, that's shameful if this is who they treat their people.
