Totally overrated. Kids from NYU come to New York from all over and never had good pizza and think it's amazing. Gotta go to BK for any solid slice.

Completely overrated pizza! And expensive as well! Went to the Times Square location a few days ago and paid $16 for 2 slices of pizza and a Mexican coke!!

Bleeker Street Pizza is way better in Greenwich !!!!
(but the most budget friendly to value and taste is 2 bros! it's just a Dollar per slice)

grown up in and around New York but I never had Joe's pizza before, my favourite New York Pizza is probably Roman's pizza on Broadway in Passaic, been going there for 10 years and my friend became addicted to it lmao

I wish you would try Sal & Paul’s pizza on Pitkin and Rockaway Ave founded in 1971 in Brownsville, Brooklyn!! I know Brownsville is kind of rough around the edges, but it’s 10000% worth the trip! You can’t be a serious credible pizza lover if you haven’t tried Sal & Paul’s!

Definitely not overrated in my opinion! It’s definitely up there amongst some of the places I’ve had in New York and it wasn’t a whole lot. I love thin and crunchy pizza delicious sauce. Four dollars yes is kinda a lot in my opinion. I had really good pizza for .99 hidden joint in manhattan and you get a drink too so come on Joes do better price wise
