Those old square fords. DO NOT suck. Love them old guys. The Chevys too. Late 80s early 90s trucks are a different breed

Started with a ford EXP when I was 18, then a crown Victoria that was formerly a cop car, then an old ford fuckin ranger, now I drive a ford escape. 4 used fords over 26 years isn’t that bad at all. Maybe someday I’ll buy new. But When I look at the prices of new cars, I just can’t get myself to commit. Cars depreciate so fuckin fast from NEW. By the time you go to trade it in you’ve spent enough to buy 4 used ones. My escape is already 11 years old. Never any major problems. I had to replace the exhaust that was it. There’s gonna be some transmission work coming up in the next year. I just got new tires from BJ’s. I’m good to go for at least another five years. Fords last forever if you take care of them. My former boss has two of those 1934 fords. He does all the repairs himself with parts he buys over the phone. He can’t take them out in these northeast winters, but he drives the hell out of them from spring to first snow. 90 years old and those cars still start.
