New 2025 Toyota Yaris GR Sport - Best Small Hybrid City Hatchback

The 2025 Toyota Yaris lineup introduces an upgraded GR Sport grade and new stylish options, while continuing to prioritize class-leading efficiency and safety in the highly competitive B-segment for small hatchbacks.

Since its debut, the Toyota Yaris has been a benchmark for innovation, staying true to its "big-small" philosophy, which blends a compact, purposeful exterior with a spacious interior. The Yaris has consistently set new standards, from enhancing safety features to pioneering full hybrid power in the B-segment. A key highlight for the 2025 model year is the introduction of a new Storm Grey color option, exclusive to the Yaris GR Sport. This color is available in both monotone and bi-tone versions, with the bi-tone option featuring a black roof. Additionally, the Yaris GR Sport is now equipped with a new set of multi-spoke 18-inch alloy wheels with a matte finish.

Both powertrains feature a self-charging hybrid setup, combining a 1.5-liter engine and dual electric motors. The Hybrid 115 produces a combined 114 hp , while the Hybrid 130 generates 129 hp .
