This Year's Christmas Decor Theme Is...?

I'm so excited to share with y'all my 2023 Christmas decor theme. Join me as I decorate my house for Christmas! I've done a several different themes throughout the year--candyland, gingerbread house, white winter wonderland, and last year's all pink theme. It's a challenge to come up with a fresh new theme each year, but I'm up for it!

This year the theme is "Ski Lodge" and maybe you've seen a sneak peak on m tiktok and ig stories.

RAVEN!!! Next years theme should be santa home! Or NORTH POLE! You can literally incorporate the lodge and gingerbread decor into it! And it would be a really fun party!!!

I the way Ravens creativity is literally setting her up to go beyond YouTube but to pivot to be an interior decorator, an event planner, a real estate moral, an HGtv show host, etc. The endless possibilities are paving the way for her daughter and her to live out her dreams and watching this is so inspirational ❤❤

Ski lodges keep the trees simpler. I’d just add some plaid ribbon to the tree and stair railings.
- Some large deers around
- DIY a large bear or deer head with paper mache for over the fireplace is a Must
- Remove the large pompas grass near the entry and put large ski set there and some garland around the mirror
- The table near the fridge, remove the painting and hang skis

When I think ski log I think Hallmark movie vibes. Very homey, lots of plaid, homemade everything, tons of blankets and woody. I can’t wait to see everything come together. 🎿

Ski lodges are usually dim with warm lighting and fireplaces. So maybe for the party you can dim your lights to help create that ambiance you're looking for.

Couple ideas for you theme

-fake deer head
-dark sheepskin or cowl print kinda rug
- ravens ski lodge wooden sign
-lots of wax candles
-floor cushions

I do not want to include taxidermy in my decor lol....and it's not possible to turn my pool into a skating rink...already thought of that lmao

I’m loving the theme! You should watch some Lifetime Christmas movies for inspiration. Also, I don’t know how this could be executed BUT a large Moose head would really set the theme off!

You could do a drink station as a "first aid station" and a favor/ gift area as "ski rental"
