What are your thoughts on the NEW Integra?!

My own JDM DC2 Type R is my pride and joy. Its easily the single most fun car Ive ever driven, its discreet enough that it doesnt turn heads unless they know what it is, its fast enough to even give Skylines a run for their money, and it has never failed to put a big fat smile on my face whenever I drive it.

I dont forsee myself ever selling it. Its even in original Factory Milano red which is stupidly rare even in japan. I love it so much.

I remember the day that Acura released a teaser of the Integra. I believe we all expect it to be another 2-door coupe but it's actually the other way around... We all know a lot of people did awesome beautiful renders of what the new Integra could be. 2-door coupe with features that almost the same as the teaser of the Integra headlights and also the design elements that are highly influcenced by the legendary Integra predecessor. But it all changed when we saw the real thing...

The Integra is one of those cars that was attainable cars that is shockingly expensive now. Still a dream. RSX for the value

RSX was amazing. The interior was one of the best things about it. So many sleek curves. Had one for 18 years.

I remember when my parents sent me to go be with my Grandparents in Nevada so they could take a road trip in my Dad's new Yamaha touring bike. They got all the way to Ohio to see my family but on the way back they decided they had had enough. They picked me up at the airport in a new Second Gen Integra GS. I was in love INSTANTLY! Bucket list item is too get a Teggie and restore it as best as I can and drive all over! Enjoy it like I couldn't, because I was 10!

The Integra Type-R is one of my all-time favorite cars with its speed and handling. Such a pretty sports car.

Thank you for keeping it real in this video and not pandering, in a few years the price of classic integras will skyrocket while these new 2023 ILXs sit on dealer lots

The one car I've had more love and respect for than any other car. I learned to drive in a 91 Integra sedan at the tender age of 8+ (I was a few months away from 9). My dad shortly sold that one and bought the corresponding coupe. We didn't have it for more than 2yrs. That was me My 1st car for the most part had to be an Integra of some sort, whether the old 91 (which I did try to track) or the newer DC. I ended up with a manual DC1 as my 1st car 3yrs ago. For the 2yrs of ownership, I LOVED how it felt on the road. IT was AWESOME AF to drive. A real theatre. I sold it because to keep it running, given that I am in the Caribbean, its more expensive to maintain than a Civic (which I have an EK now), due to the availability of specific parts. Not a day goes by that I don't think of that car and how I felt. But reality is a cold thing. Maybe one day.

Side note Trav, your right. The ordinary and the Type R can oversteer if you are in environment that has no grip. I've oversteered slightly, going around a roundabout at about 35mph or more.

Regarding the new one, it looks nice and its not like they didn't have 4door Integras- they did. I guess the proof is in the pudding when it goes on the road.

Dont pull your punches bro. Loved your video. I had gen 1 and 2 Integras. Gen 1 was actually quieter and better overall as a city car but the gen 2 was a top speed demon. I miss the Gen 1 more!

The Integra, specifically the 94-01 still a really good car even if compared to newer cars. I owned a LS DB8 for a couple of years and with few upgrades it was a star at my local autocross events. Can't wait to find a USDM Type-R for the right price.

For me the Acura Integra Type S went a long way to change my mind about the new Integra to the point where I now want one and am looking for a way to buy one.

I really hope that they make a 2-door coupe version with a facelift for the new Integra to try and attract buyers. I feel like it’ll slump in sales with how underwhelming it was received. :/

I think the 3rd gen honda prelude si is an amazing handling car

Scream that last line at the top of your chest so Acura can hear you. I really hope Acura can create something amazing for the Type S. I know coupes are did but I think if they have us a +300hp Integra Type S coupe with SH-AWD that will definitely be a great platform

The 94 integra was my first Honda / Acura back in 2000. Best little car I’ve ever had

My friend’s mom had an integra. But sadly she had to give it up for something bigger since she had him. He was sad she got rid of it since it would have been a cool car to keep. She still misses the car. It was all white.

What's worse about the Mustang? The Ecoboost outsells the GT, and the Mach-E outsells them both. It goes to show that some people will buy anything as long as it has the horse logo in front, and it looks like a mustang. Sad.😔

Again, job well done Ideal Media. I was not excited about the reveal of the "new" Acura Integra but what Acura did with the Integra Type S changed all that to the point now where I now want to buy one. The difference between the base Integra and the Integra Type S to me is as striking as the difference between a base Honda Civic to the Honda Civic Type R. If this is what Acura had planned all along, I can forgive them. At the end of the day, Acura has to sell cars and the reality is that car enthusiasts only represent a small part of their sales. I am just glad companies like Acura found a way to still give us cars like the Integra Type S and the fact it only comes in a manual is a gift to all car enthusiasts.
