I’m all for artists creating the music they want, but I just have such a hard time believing that all of these classic 08-13 metalcore bands all truly deeply want to create Generic Stadium Rock With A Mild Breakdown because something about it resonates so strongly with them. It’s so nice to have a band know what they’re good at and just create what we’ve been wanting since they left.
