Most of the fans of the show are fans because they read the books or played the games so the source material is ingrained in our minds and its because Geralt is THE MAIN CHARACTER!! They basically made him a supporting character the a series that was born from his character. And the writer says if you dont watch it because you like it then watch it for the other actors and actresses in the show!?!? I love Ciri and Yennefer and everyones favorite Bard but its called "THE WITCHER" i hate it for all the other actors but i wont be sad when the show dies because they killed it themselves.

It felt like the writers were happy that Henry left, because he was to passionate about the material - and like the rest of Hollywood the writers had to change the material! Liam is not a capable replacment, the last movie he was in has 9% on rotten tomato and I have not seen anywhere if he is even interested in The Witcher or fantasy in general. I bet he got the role because the showrunner likes him or his brother, that or he was the only guy desperate enough to work with her after the treatment she gave to Henry.

I think what made the show a success was the chemistry between the actors. Henry was the anchor to that. I mean, the plot is fine, but I think the actors are what really sold it and made it a fan favorite. I think that’s why it’s so shocking and disappointing. It like, you guys have found that rare and magical dynamic…and you’re just gonna throw it away? 🤨 it’s stupid. I feel bad for Liam Hemsworth. He’s probably getting 10x the amount of scrutiny and criticism than he actually deserves because of what he’s walking into.

To be handed a beloved franchise on a plate with books, games and millions of fans to draw on... then destroy it.

Think how much race-swapping, bad casting and shoving woke politics into every scene must have happened? It takes talent to take an established franchise based on Northern European folklore and end up with a urban highschool D&D cosplay movie.
