Sweet! I have all of these! And yes you're correct about the StarCraft and Diablo games, those are later (second) releases of the game. The first releases actually came in a box with no "Game of the Year" stickers on them ;)

Have you tried the build engine games? Out of the three best build games such as Duke nukem, Shadow warrior, and Blood. The Blood big box has too the hardest to find. I own both duke nukem and Shadow warrior but not Blood of course.

I think the big box pc collecting haven’t skyrocketed yet, like how collecting for nes, snes ( ie retro nintendo stuff) have gone insane in the past couple years. I think the cause is that people don’t want to bother themselves with having the appropriate hardware of that time. But man, they are definitely missing out on a lot.

I'm a BigBox Collector myself and kept some of release-buys myself until today
I'm a bit saddened that sone US formats are somewhat biggee than european ones and differ in artwork
For example those for Fallout 1 and 2, they've also become rediclious expensive today bit I got 'em for a nice trade off earlier on
They don't stack up games with so much extras anymore unless its a collector's edition or anything the likes
