It really is absurd how high big box PC games have risen in value over the past ten years.

Really wasn't that long ago that collecting these was considered laughable by many collectors. Well WHO'S LAUGHING NOW.

Keep going with this. The more obscure and rare PC games, big box or not and whether valuable or not. This stuff is fascinating.

4:12 This coin was actually used as a prop in The Last Jedi, when DJ is rummaging around the ship.

Thanks for this video. This brings back great memories. Stores who sold PC games in the 90's needed a lot of shelf space to display the large and often irregular shaped boxes. Very cool!

You do a great job with creating these videos on YouTube. I really enjoy watching all the different games on PC or console that have been out there. Makes me want to go find and buy them. Dave

I LOVE this stuff. Please do more on PC collecting. I grew up with these games but I got them at our local hair salon or super market. The same family owned both and sold pirated versions, complete with printed guides to get past some of the piracy protection. Now I'm trying to collect the games I grew up with and there aren't many videos/resources out there.

Thanks for this video through my childhood of computer games. My friend had the Gabriel Knight CD release and I remember him letting me borrow it and opening the origami box. And the box of Suspended brought back memories of being in a computer store and seeing those Infocom games on the shelf. I miss the box box PC packaging and how they tried to get your attention. It’s too bad when I worked for a game store that those had mostly faded out, uniform small box PC games had just come into fashion, and soon digital services had PC games removed from stores almost completely soon after. Great nostalgia trip, thanks MJ!

Awesome video! Would definitely love to see more big box videos. I'm mainly a console collector myself but I definitely see the draw of big box PC there's so much substance there!

Big box PC games are nothing short of art. My family couldn't afford a gaming pc in the 90s and I can't even count the hours I spent looking at the game boxes. Good memories.

Please do more of these! Big box PC games are the vinyl records of video games!

Good lord, man. You had me running all over the house checking my conditions and completeness, since I've managed to collect about half of what you showed here since I started collecting in 1993. Fun video! Do more of these please!

I’m not even PC boxed game collecting myself but seeing this stuff is just so cool! I did brush up against some of these games growing up but this collection simply rocks.

The prices they want for SSI, ORIGINS, EPYX, BRODERBUND, EA, games for the APPLE ][ are outrageous.
Games that cost as little s $4.95 new up to $60 now going for $1000.
I won't pay for them and no one else should either.
I lost my huge game collection when my girlfriend's idiot housekeeper cleaned our apartment, went into the closet and decided that they were junk and threw them into the dumpster while I was out one day.
I had 10, 000 Apple ][ games with the original boxes and manuals.
I could buy a mansion if I still had them today.
I was sent new stuff every month because I made friends with developers, owners or executives of companies back in the 1970's or 1980's.
I had every SSI game except 2; Broderbund, EA, etc.
Still pissed about it.
My girlfriend says she did not know they got tossed out.
