What’s your preferred sleeping position?

The takeaway I got from this is no sleep position is inherently bad but it could be worth
seeing if you could benefit from changing positions depending on the pain you're experiencing,
also to add to that, you could possibly benefit from changing your pillow, perhaps in retrospect your pillow wasn't best
suited to your sleeping position.

My preferred sleeping on my stomach 😴. This video was helpful unlike the others on YouTube.

Depends on what's stiff at the time and what kind of bed I'm in. My stomach issues often LOVE the pressure on being on my stomach. If I otherwise want to be on my side, I go for 3/4. I have a right hip issue and a left shoulder issue, so depending on the pillow/mattress topper situation, or allergies, I might prefer one side or the other. But when the stars align, stomach and 3/4 have something special going on. Growing up before having issues I was probably more left side (right side for "slipping away" and switch to left for full night sleep).

Whenever I side sleep (doesn't matter which one) I get shoulder/clavicle pain, to the point I wake up and everything is "crunchy"... Plus it seems like the arm on top always collapses, making me cocooned into my own chest. I am appalled at how people can side sleep comfortably!

I’ve been trying to lie on my back to sleep for the past week and the subsequent migraines are not fun. I’m not giving up but it’s nice to know there’s no right or wrong per say.

so Ive slept on my back my whole life, idk why. ive never heard of any of the different sleep positions before. ive tried my stomach or side, and its so uncomfortable. so for as long as i can remember, ive always slept on my back. it could be related to the IBD i was dealing with growing up, who knows. thanks for this, sub earned.

Simple solution: move your pillow forward and do sidelying, best towards a wall. More blanket, less space, more cozy, less insomnia, more sleep, less tiredness. (idk, maybe)
