i remember watching some video in 2015 about GTA SanAndreas Vs GTA 5, and i was so amazed by the graphics in gta 5, felt like true life to me
and now i'm experiencing the same damn thing right now

The tall building in GTA VI obviously looks better due to lighting but also just due to the structural design. There are actual balconies on that building which gives it some depth instead of the GTA V building that's just a large almost flat surface.

The laser scans and the way texture was used made huge improvement on distant views. This was already seen in RDR2. The way NPC looks is also day and night, not only models more complex, even their heights and bodyshapes now have a huge variety compared to predecessors. They gestures also varies and how costumes NPCs wears distinct from eachother is at an amazing level. In the close shot of the beach scene you can barely find anyone wearing the same swimsuit. You can barely spot an NPC dong the same gestures.

The introduction of chaos nature to a game made it the most natural reproduction of life ever.

I like how at 3:03 you can see the lights are colored like people using led's in their rooms like how people use them now instead of normal lights. Just a small detail I like that they added

I didn't notice how much better GTA VI's graphics were compared to GTA V at first. It's seriously impressive when you see them side by side.

You know you are getting old when GTA V looks THAT outdated. I remember in 2013 looking at the cutscene with trevor at the gas station it looked like real life for me

It's amazing how rockstar never fails to make the previous game look cartoonish/low quality by introducing a new one

I see a lot of people saying the GTA 6 trailer is CGI and not how the game will actually look. I remember back in 2016 when the RDR2 trailer came out people was saying that there's no way the game will look as good as the trailer and yet it ended up looking the same and even better in a few situations. Even the GTA 5 trailers looked exactly the same as the full game.

GTA VI seems to aim for a more realistic experience, which can be seen in the natural color schemes, population density, and building detail. the lighting is harsher and the sunsets have more contrast. GTA V, on the other hand, has a cinematic feel, with softer diffused lighting, filmic color grading and emptier roads, ultimately evoking a dream-like atmosphere.
