Today you can learn English as you travel to the dump with me. The dump is a place where we bring garbage and recycling. Most of what I brought was recyclable so I was quite happy about that.

In this English lesson you'll learn words and phrases like: recycling, waste management, the dump, landfill, garbage, dumpster, bin, electronic waste, toxic waste, hazardous waste, to donate, charity, and many more!

I hope you enjoyed this free English class at the dump!

⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

Hi, Bob! It's always interesting when you not only teach English, but also show us a bit of everyday live in your country.

Hi teacher Bob! 🖐️😎 It's always so much fun hanging out with you. While you were recycling waste, you also recycled time by turning this process into a great lesson. The win-win process can only be managed this well. Thank you so much for your hard work! Have a great day! Bye 👋😎🌹💐♥️

Very interesting, both, the English lesson and the Canadian recycle system! Here in Germany (I am from Brazil but I live in Germany) is similar. But this kind of dump we only have for old furniture and household appliances. We also weigh the car, like Bob did 😀 and we have to pay for it. Plastic and metal (small), cardboard, organic waste and non-recyclable waste, we sort them at home and they collect them. Old clothes have a specific disposal facility for it, glass has a specific facility, and we have to deliver all of them ourselves. And sort the glasses by color before throwing them into the containers 😀 Other waste containing hazardous substances, such as battery or any gas, must be taken to specific locations. Clothes, furniture and household utensils still in usable condition can be donated at many specific locations. They also collect them from your home, depending on the quantity. It's a little difficult to get used to how the recycling system works here, but once you understand it, you see that it works well and it's very interesting! Sorry for the long text!... I think I got excited about the "Let's Learn English at the Dump!" video 😀

Hey, mister, it has been to my benefit to show me how you're disposing of trash and garbage at the dump ! ; some kinds of scrap are being divided into several units for recycling ♻. Thank you mister for showing me how the scrap is disposed of at the management site ! But, in such a case, here we hardly go to the site in person, but instead we have to pay a little bit more for disposing of the same scrap as you brought at the dump. 😉☺️😊 Stay strong and healthy for your own work !💪 See you mister next time again !

It’s great to see that citizens care about the environment. 🌿
It's a pity that such waste management facilities and such behavior are the exception rather than the rule.

I recycle bottles, cans, cables, batteries and staff, but unfortunately it is not very popular in my town, St, Petersburg, Russia. Half of my friends think we are crazy. thanks for the video, We can see how people should do it. We need to live environmentally friendly❤ live

You really make the most of your time, as you could produce another English lesson on dumpsite when you were trying to get rid of your unwanted items. 😊

That's a brilliant idea to attach your microphone to your Blue Jays cap, Bob 😘. But I have to admit that at first glance I thought it was a new gadget. (Specifically designed to be worn at this spot). Haha, it looks a bit futuristic but also somehow cool. When I look at the people in the background, casually throwing their stuff into the containers while you talk, I wonder if people often ask you what you're doing and when you say what you're doing, do they know you from your channel? (And then ask you for a selfie or something) 🤔. Anyways, thanks for the great new lesson, Bob. I wish you a wonderful Tuesday. 🧢🎤🧍‍♂️
