GOD this song ABSOLUTELY shaped my childhood- teen years.. I was 9 when it came out & legit (corny as this sounds) when I heard this just now for the first time in years, my eyes welled up. SO MANY life memories, this was/ is an absolute timeless anthem in my mind. I feel like EVERY girl born in the late 80’s thanks you for this because it will forever be “the song” or one of the songs that can play after 25 years and you remember every single memory & lyric.
