I remember attending a 30th birthday with my parents when I was a teen and the birthday guy was talking to me about how your perception of time speeds up as you age due to each year you add on being a smaller percentage of your overall lived lifetime. He was basically saying you’ll be 30 before you know it.. and now here we are.. the funniest thing is now there are comment sections where everyone can come and commiserate about our collective aging - in the past you could only do this with your friends or keep it to yourself haha
