"Passionate Reply" wasn't recorded as part of the original "Vienna" sessions. It was, in fact, recorded in the US while the band were touring there later in 1980. A new B side was needed for an up and coming New single which was to be released in January the following year. The single that carries the unwelcome title of the most famous number 2 hit single in the history of the UK charts!

The least said about that the better...
