This module reviewed and discussed the latest trends and key issues around funding of the UN’s operational activities for development, provided background and highlights on the Funding Compact’s commitments, which emphasizes greater transparency and accountability on the part of the system in exchange for higher quality and more predictable resources, and exchanged views on the role of the UN development system in terms of supporting countries to finance the SDGs.
