Prof. Ilan Stavans gives and overview of Jewish literature that is unique because it is in so many different languages and lands, and if all those differences it is still Jewish literature. What is the uniqueness that binds it together? Stavans is the Lewis-Sebring Professor of Humanities at Amherst College, and a winner of the National Jewish Book Award and Guggenheim Fellowship among others.
