I still use my BB passport, it's my smartphone detox and I would say the best basic phone to use. People tell me how cute my phone is whenever they see my BB Passport 🥰

I dropped my Smasung from like, 0.5 feet and the screen connector disconnected. I swapped the sim to an older phone I had, the BB Key 2 from 2018, hence why I am watching this video.

Honestly, its going A LOT better than I thought. The plan was to use it as a placeholder since I need 2fa for my work and then replace it with a new Google Pixel 8 pro. It's been over a week and I haven't gone in to get a new phone. Besides running an outdated OS 8.1, it seems to handle all of the tasks I need just fine, albeit occasionally a little delay.

That being said, its still great for emails (need to download the Outlook Lite version, it doesn't support the new, full-build), Android Auto, Spotify, OK photos, Chat GPT, texts/calls. The only thing I need to be careful with are rogue/phishing attempts. I think the phone continued to get some security updates over the years, but I don't know how protected I would be opening a sketchy Google Drive link...

Bb10 phones were ahead of their time. OS was very limited due to security and privacy. But even presidents and world leaders used these phones.

BlackBerry should provide support for BlackBerry phone still being use today. those phones are still useable. BlackBerry android should be upgrade to android 12 at least.

I used my Z30 for 8 years until Verizon cutoff 4G LTE service, I hate apple and the all the ad's, the spying, and now after useless updates that break the phone and change all kinds of things for no reason I'm at my breaking point. I'm going to get a near 11 year old Z30, refurb it, and use a VOIP app to continue using. Thats what people are willing to go through due to how good blackberry was and how terrible everything else has become
