Highlights from the 2019 King-Snohomish Regional Spelling Bee

The regional spelling bee brings together students from schools across King and Snohomish Counties in a celebration of language, education and hard work. Congratulations go to the winner, Nidhi Achanta of Maywood Middle School in the Issaquah School District, who will represent the region at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. for the second year in a row.
We’ve temporarily removed the full video of the King-Snohomish Regional Spelling Bee which took place on March 2. The Scripps National Spelling Bee requests local spelling bee organizers and media sponsors wait until after April 1 to post video of the full competition.
