When i add if clone type = fruit it dosent work but when i add forever it works

I followed all of the steps correctly and when I click the flag to start, the fruits do come up randomly, but the original one watermelon stays in place 24/7 and I can't figure out how to get rid of it or to make it move like the rest. I rechecked my steps multiple times and this project is due in weeks so im getting a little nervous
