If the analyst wants to accuse Russia for not offering discount to poorer countries, he’d better let the audience know how much a western vaccine cost after discount... you can’t just accuse someone without giving the full picture.

Once again when in comes to Russia there is no way the subject itself (in this case a vaccine) would be discussed without mentioning of geopolitics, Putin, diplomacy, secret agency and so on. You wouldn't call Pfizer's vaccine *_Biden's Vaccine_* don't you? And why distribution around the globe was said as this is a bad thing? What should they do? Keep it in secret and help no one? You're on that stage of backlash when you see nothing but malice. Sometimes at least try to be dispassionate.

Yes México has to buy Sputnik V, because USA Government did not allow Pharmaceutical send Vaccines to any Latín American countries!!

It turns out that the Sputnik vaccine is quite effective, which is great. But the approval in August 2020 was premature. It hadn’t yet been demonstrated to be effective. There were plenty of other vaccine candidates in the world that were at the same stage or further along but their manufacturers and regulators were more responsible about evidence-based approvals.

As far as I know, Sputnik V has published their data on Lancet. In the paper, the efficacy was declared to be 91%..
