An absolute animal.  Very very very underrated athletic ability.  How many times did i see him rip a defensive rebound, go the length of the court, and dunk in someone's face? Countless!!!!

I am 51 and watched Barkley from college and the NBA, He was a matchup nightmare for opposing teams because he would overpower  small forwards in the post and was to quick and athletic for big forwards. I saw him dominate games by himself many times, a game changer.

The Chuckster had mad hops back in the day.
He was the shortest guy I've ever seen be able to do a standing jump dunk while three 7 footers were hitting and fouling him.

Barkley was incredible when he was a Sixer.  I know he got his MVP with the Suns, but his best years were in Philly.  Beast.  I was a diehard Magic Johnson fan, and even I can admit Barkley should've gotten MVP in 1990.

How could a 6'5 35-40 kilos overweight ended up as one of the greatest power forward of all time? Competed with players that were 6'10 and taller and out rebounded 95% of them? Barkley was a freak and blessed, my top 2 favourite players behing Bird.

A 6'5 power forward who dominated in the eastern and western conference. A freak of nature athlete.

what an, odd and unique athlete, he doesn't look like he could do much . but he is as graceful as a good shooting guard at times and at times a kinda clumsy tank ? I can't explain it really what I'm trying to say.

greatest overall athlete in sports, with his bodytype he could probably be doing boxing, be in the nfl or any other contact sport. this man was a total freak of nature

I'm yet to see draymond green do any of the things that I just saw Charles Barkley do.

Most younger ppl see goofy Barkley commentator. Dude was a ferocious player. Explosive, powerful. Look at his board numbers throughout his career even later when he lost some of his hops.

the most awkward body frame of all time but a phenomenal athlete and a beast player

I bet that no one from 1987-1997 tried to take a charge from Barkley. I bet there was a stat for this.

6'5 but played like he's 7'0. He made it cool to be short and stalky

Unstoppable on a fast break...a real finisher

He truly was a ONE MAN WRECKING CREW. Was virtually the lone talent on those early 90s Sixers teams. No joke.

As someone who didn't start watching Barkley until he was on the Suns, it's so bizarre to see his youthful athleticism. He looks like a different player here.

I still find it hilarious that a few years back people were comparing Donkey Green to Barkley.

Doesn't get the credit he deserves the most unique player in nba history, never had the teammates that bird, magic or Jordan had
