Bullshit. You can’t more target one of the muscles of your quads, except a little bit when your hips are extended or flexed.
Also don’t pont your toes inward or outward your just destroying your knees since the knee joint can only move on one axis, if you don’t align this axis with the machine’s axis, you’re just putting tension on it, especially with heavy weights

Bro if you want bigger legs just focus on growing quads and hamstrings in general u can’t really isolate a specific quad muscle and it’s not gonna make a huge difference so just focus on getting bigger quads in general. no need to overcomplicate stuff

I invest an entire workout session to just pure high rep deadly squats for size. Wait a few days and then do a bunch of accessory exorcises and stretches to get the sculpted look I want. Nothing extreme. I just make sure I do enough to always hate leg day.

The largest muscle of the quads is called the rectus femoris, not the vastus lateralis... Just train ur quads and have some patience, its all gonna be fine
