We were watching I Dream of Jeannie just this Sunday. Boycie and Hart are absolutely brilliant. I've never seen Phil Spector before Wednesday 26 September, 2018. That's when we recorded it. When Jeannie says to him "Excuse me, are you Mr Phil Spector?" I felt immediately that it was him and not an actor. Then the next day, on Monday morning we hear from R Mornings, Revelation TV, Sky channel 581 that he has passed away. We❤️The Wall of Sound and The CHRISTmas albums.

Hate the ending of his life but loved the music he created and his contribution to the industry

Definitely an extreme roller coaster from beginning to end. Did incredibly innovative things to & for contemporary music during his multi talented era.

If only he admitted to his faults and his crime and confessed to his wrongdoing...people would have pardoned him but his denial and ignorance is what truly killed him. R.I.P.

His music was woven deeply into the fabric of my life, in particular The Righteous Brothers you've lost that lovin' feeling. The Beatles, both together and as solo artists, were also a major influence as I'm sure it was for countless others. That he had trouble later in his life always saddened me but he is after all, a very flawed human being. I was sorry to learn about his conviction on a serious charge as it happened, but for me, that shall never diminish his contributions to the art. That is a legacy that will live on to be enjoyed by present and future generations.

Besides being remembered for the wall of sound, he should also be remembered for the wall of shame.

All those years in prison without sex drugs and music, what a horrible death sentence. Rip Phil..

It's not the passing, but instead the legacy he has left behind.

Gave us some great music the Wall of Sound is unforgettable play his work to this day. Tragically in his life he became more unstable and we all know what resulted. His music will live on but so will his history. Would loved to have said RIP but on this occasion I really can't.

A deeply flawed, but brilliant man. Rest in peace.

He did incredible things when he was young, a talent and legacy wasted.
RIP? I don’t care if he’s trapped in a cathedral fresco depicting hell.

He created the wall of sound. Sad of what happened, drugs and booze, bad combo. Rest in peace Phill, thanks for shareing your many talents with us. Rest in peace to the women who died in Phil's home. Guess we'll never know what really happened.
