Back in the summer of 2012, for three weekends, the Walkersville Southern Railroad, in MD, hosted a steam engine for the first time on their rails. Visiting 0-4-0 Flagg Coal #75, a Gramling Locomotive Works engine, traversed the seven miles of track - south of Walkersville on regular excursions, and north of the station for the photo special trips that were operated.

Enjoy the highlights from the first weekend of steam operation along the historic and scenic line, from June 23-24 - including a spectacular photo runby from that weekend's railfan special!
