Best I ever saw was in the churchyard of St Mary. The parish church in Twickenham. It was destroyed when a new vicar had the churchyard cleared. It recorded the death of a man who "dropped his razor and cut off his toe, and five days later he died" I was too young to have a camera when it and many others were removed so I don't even know the name of the victim of that slightly bizarre way of meeting your maker, but I assume that the wound became infected.
